Books for my Hogwarts House | Top 5 Wednesday

June 7, 2017

My first top 5 Wednesday! Today’s topic is book recommendations based on your Hogwarts House! Let me know if you like these type of posts 🙂 If you’d like to join, check the Goodreads complete list

My house is Ravenclaw!

1. Vampires by Charlotte Montague: Ravenclaws are into the occult. Remember Quirrel and Lockhart taught Defense Against the Dark Arts! Here’s a book about the best mythical creatures: vampires 🙂
Purchase: The Book Depository

2. Cathedral of the Sea by Ildefonso Falcones: Ravenclaw’s common room is in a tower that overlooks the sea. Recreate that feeling by reading about the construction of a medieval cathedral (Hogwarts anyone?) that is near the sea.
Purchase: The Book Depository

3. Don Quixote by Cervantes: Ravenclaws are clever and most geniuses are ecclectic! Don Quixote is probably the most peculiar character in the history of literature.
Purchase: The Book Depository

4. The Woman in Black by Susan Hill: The ghost of the Ravenclaw house is the grey lady, whose life and death story is sad and heartbreaking. Read another tragic ghost story in The Woman in Black.
Purchase: The Book Depository

5. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Askaban: Ravenclaws are studious and dedicated to their work. This book gives me that feeling because Hermione gets more involved in academics. She is basically me at University. I often got inspiration from 3rd grade Hermione.
Purchase: The Book Depository

More people must ought to see this and appreciate this side of the story. I cant believe youre less well-known when you definitely contain the gift.
